Loom probs

I am confused about the wiring loom when swapping my 1.3 for a 1.6i

The wires that have been cut on the 1.6i engine need to match up to the ones that I have cut from the 1.3 engine...correct?

What about the 1.6i and its ECU etc...there must be wires left over....what do I do about these?

if you get the complete loom from the gte, and split out the oil/temp sender wires, and charging & starter circuit, you can reuse the 1.3 ones. you then have to run the fuel pump wire (red/blue I think) all the way to the back. (thru the interior and out the fuel sender hole is best). you then need an 'ignition on' feed, connect to the original coil feed. then there is the fault code wire, connect it to the choke on light, or the correct one if you are using the gte dash (recommended for accurate speedo) then enjoy.
