Long story short my employer has got the a train ticket to go to training. Was a big dispute about it as well normally take a van instead but anyway I know the way and where to park ect so I'd there any way he can check I've gone on the train? I dispise them and have too much gear to carry about so would rather take my own car. Cheers

I'm pretty certain your boss can't find out if the ticket was used, would he actually try and check anyway?

You can always say the ticket wasn't working and the people at the ticket barriers let you through after visually checking your ticket if he some how did find out

Yeah not always stamped or scribbled on or checked on the train are they. Imagine you'd be OK. Stop being stroppy and get on the bloody train lol

Go to the train station and get refunded for the ticket and you'll have some fuel money too

You can usually refund for a cost.

and no, there is no way they will know, but you can't claim fuel mileage lol
