Bmw 1 series
wipers are staying on full speed with the key out! So had to disconnect the battery! I think it is the stalk but hopefully the auto spark will sort it Monday. Any advise would be appreciated. So no stupid comments cheers.

Sounds more like a relay sticking. The switch shouldn't have a perement live to it.

The switch is just a resistor ladder, as said, it'll be a stuck relay

Fixed! It was a relay.
