I have noticed one or two issues with my 1.2i recently.
There was excessive gunk from the engine breather, a broken dipstick and I have noticed oil consumption.
There is no sign of oil and water mixing as I thought the head gasket had gone.
I also noticed that the air filter has signs of heat from where the breather hose comes into it. Does anyone have any ideas? I would doubt it is piston rings as the car is not smokey.
