1.4 dizzy question

Hey guys

The vaccum diaphragm on my dizzy is broken can I fit a non vaccum one instead would it be just a straight swap and blank the pipe ?

I wouldn't think so, you will lose your vacuum ignition advance and the ecu can't compensate for that.

Hey tanks for reply it has no ecu so that's not a problem I thought people upgraded to the non vaccum one ?

If you convert to mechanical advance dizzy you should be fine.
