Where good and cheap to do a bottom end rebuild ?? On a 1.3 8v preffebly north wales/north west I know Philip Nichols can but he's just had a baby just wondering is there anyone else

Yee not like 1000 to rebuild more closer than that but also good

Well considering there's some people the do it cheap and don't go out ripping people off and there's others that go and purely rip people off so yeah that's where I'm at
But a Haynes book and find a decent engine machinist.

Buy and engine stand and have a go your self, loads cheaper and at least you'll know what you want done will be done, as said get a Haynes manual and do some research and get stuck in.
Ps take loads of pictures so you can look back at things if you get confused .

Its about 30 quid a journal for a regrind and shells, seals and sup gaskets are cheap and readily available.
