Hi looking for some advise on what to do with my nova, it's a 1.2 33k mile 2 door no rust and never been welded. I stripped it with the intention of putting a red top in it but family circumstances have changed and I can't see myself doing anything else to it.My question is do I build it back up and mot it or just make it a rolling shell and sell as is other problem is I sold the engine. Any suggestions appreciated
Complete MOT'd car for maximum cash. In my experience it only seems to be autograssers interested in buying shells!
Yep, agreed with Iain. A usable car will always fetch better money than a shell, even if its only a 1.0 or something. Only exception would be a fully caged track ready shell, or a mint/fresh one.
Mind you, if you don't have time or capacity to fit an XE, would you be able to stick anything else in?
Deffo build it back up. A clean, non rust car will sell better and make more money. And means someone gets to keep another Nova on the road.
