Limited Slip Diff info

Hi Guys,


I am trying to find out some information about a limited slip diff which i have seen for sale with a gearbox that I want.

Basically I am just trying to find out what the diff actually is, Its standard specs (ramp angles, preload etc) and if/ where i can get spare parts to rebuild it.

I have managed to work out that it is a ZF diff, but cant really get any further than that so I was hoping that there might be someone on here that can help. :thumb:

The diff fits F10/F13/F13/F17 gearboxes.

Has the following stamped into the diff body:

4061019066 (tel:4061019066)
668089 (tel:668089)
S40


If anyone can make sense of that and give me some info it would be very much appreciated.

If its a plate diff as you are suggesting. It could be a gripper.

Phone them. They supply parts and rebuild kits.

Ring Harry Hockly Motorsport - hh-ms.com as they supplied a lot of the ZF diffs and can help with replacement parts.

If anyone has any further enquiries into a diff of similar spec, I do now possess all of the official ZF documents (from their archives) on this diff.
This is information which I am happy to share with anyone, but cant work out how to actually post it.
