Love his car but won't be buying PV mag, not that its the only magazine now with very little worthwhile content for its price

Nice car and a nice lad. He came to pick some parts up from me and was talking of breaking it!!

Thanks Ian, everyone.
This feature was originally supposed to have happened late summer 2014; it ended up falling through for some reason at the time.
Glad it was rekindled and pleased how it came out, however with it happening a year later - I am going to be another one of those who broke the car soon after the feature.
I'm pretty confident this shell will be back again, in the hands of another enthusiast, will be interesting to see what happens.

At least you have a nice feature before it got stripped. Shame to hear it's coming apart though.

Yes. I'm looking forward to seeing all the photos that were taken at the photo shoot, when I get chance to contact the photographer.
I gave the car a never seen before look, by removing the stickers and plates, lowering to an 'un-drivable' ride height etc.
I have to buy property, by myself - so I am afraid the Nova will have to go. As I have said before, I may try to keep one or two of the goodies - depends on how things go.

That's a real shame.

Always liked the car!

seen it a few times through the years lol!

just wondered has it been featured previously? Perhaps in a different magazine????

Peester if your looking to break the car I'd be very interested in the loom and ecu, as I'm building a very similar speck engine, if you could keep me in mind please.
Thanks Nick

Congratulations Dave on the feature, remember you saying about it when you bought the GL. Shame about having to let go now. Hope you keeping the GL?

Can you actually buy the mag in shops any more? I can't find it at least. They have already gone from monthly to every other month, perhaps it won't last much longer?

I can still get it in WHSmiths and Morrisons

Apologies with bumping this getting-on-a-bit thread; I haven't logged on here in a while.. :-/
The car has been featured in Retro cars mag in September 2014.
I am keeping the GL Steve, I will be using it this summer. But won't be doing any resto/modifying work to it this year at least.
Parts-wise I have to take to ebay; I have had too many requests to bagsy the parts for people; its neater and more civil to list properly for sale, when the parts are ready.
Thanks for the comments and replies. Its only a big thing like property I'd have given all this up for.
With the exception of maybe a trackday, a RWYB and a nurberg trip - I achieved everything I wanted with the car.

Don't think I could stomach the ebay fees for a whole car.
