Probably been covered numerous times, how hard to fit one into a mk1 nova dash? Also wiring is it hard or just a case of colour to colour? :thumb: thanks

Easy to fit? Nope! Its easier to remove the entire dash and cut it bit by bit!
Wiring the same - nope again - but there are LOADS of diagrams about

Wiring is a piece of piss.Making it fit neatly is very very difficult. It took me ages and i was never happy with it so much that i ended up running a stihlsaw through my brown dash and fitting a mk2 one.

Great didn't think it would be easy. My dash is not the best anyways so might give it ago. Appreciate the help.

Get a spare mk1 dash and have a go, cut it to your liking then fibreglass all the fuckups, then get it flocked ;)

If I remember correct you can use part of a cavalier dash to fill the gap around the digi dash when it's fitted to the mk 1 dash

I done it with no filler or fibreglass, all I done was cut the dash to the same shape as the digi and mounted it from the back. You need to modify the air duct to the screen

I'd be interested in seeing that as well as that sounds like the route I might be taking on mine.

Take dash out 100% was a pain to do and ends up coming very close to the the demister ducting. I eventually went to a gsi dash as it's easier to take apart

If the dash mounts from the back how do you connect the wiring / plugs

Do wiring before hand, then plug it in as you start putting the dash back in. It's a pain in the arse. There's a reason no one does it lol
