xe wiring help please

My track car now only has the ecu loom . No car loom what so ever .im currently making a new loom for the ign side of thing . The loom needs to be as basic and bare bones as possible .

Couple of questions

Can i run a live directly from the ign toggle switch to the + side of the coil to give that power . My ecu loom has the big red perm live to the ecu from battery but at the other end near the engine control / fuel pump relay there is a 3mm red wire that was originaly wired into my car loom is this an ign / switch live to ? Iv just been back and cut the loom back abit more and noticed the red wire im talking about is actualy wired into the red blue which goes back to the ecu . However i already hav the red n blue coming from the relay that goes to the fuel pump ???
