After removing the top of the bulk head and slam pannel ect from my nova drag build im looking at bracing the strut tops from the cage . Im after putting a cross in (around were the heater blower would normaly be but before i start cutting id like to see how you did yours . Cheers dan
To help you search, it's called triangulation to the turrets.
8v Craig's springs to mind, looks like it strengthens the steering rack mounts then up to the turrets

There was one in a thread recently that had a cross just behind the turrets looked cool, I've been looking for it but can't find it.
This one. I think it would be more effective/stronger if they went back to the A pillar bar, but I imagine that's a pain to do.

I boxed in the triangulation to the turrets

And made an unboltable straight strut brace

Probably not as good as a cross brace in there though. A diagonal from the drivers turret to the passenger side A pillar leg where it meets the floor might work well? (Who knows I'm not a rollcage designer lol)
Here's where I've probably got the diagonal idea from above

Thanks lads some good pics there. Iain the pic u posted further up is exactly what im wanting to do but im going to spread the cross abit as i have saddles to connect the brace directly to the a pillar bars . Cheers again
The grey one with diagonals to the front cage legs sound like a good idea to me.
By saddles do you mean to make it bolt-on?

Yea so the engine bay through is welded but i can still remove the a pillar bars if needed
Don't follow but weld in is better than bolt in

Mine above picks up the steering rack and turrets. If I was to do it again I would do it like the RML Cavalier BTTC, but it's all learning.
My one that iaiaiain posted was done like that as its a bolt in cage. Its bolt in as i'll inevitably crash it and its easier to straighten a car with a bolt in cage lol
