Hi guys,

Long time no speak! Hope your all well? Here we go then.... I have available some tasty parts that I've acquired over some time with the intention of fitting to upgrade my nova turbo further next year. However as I've recently made the decision to also part with Novas for good next year theirs no point in spending/adding any further to it.

Up first Is a Wilwood midilite kit recently refurbished by myself. Initially purchased from Will Foy on here with a good few coats of crusty paint on. I spent hours removing it all before preparing/painting them up in high gloss red with a touch of satin black on ancillaries. Disc areas were thoroughly cleaned etched and painted satin silver. Kit includes Calipers,discs and a box of pads with various compounds. All that's needed is flexi hoses which can be bought cheaply enough through various suppliers. Looking for £375 plus postage or collection welcome. Provisionally SOLD!

Up next is a genuine new unused John Toovey race engines nylon cambelt infill plate which allows you to remove the cambelt cover and inner guard completely. This comes with a c20 rocker cover which I had acid dipped and the end milled off before painting it in a great bright silver. Also included are the cambelt roller mounting point pegs you may require Looking for £250 plus post. Now SOLD!

Next a single compomotive mo rim 6.5J by 16" et 45? Acid dipped then primed and painted by me in custom metallic Matt bronze. Quite rare to come across I was going to use this as a spare as I knew I'd probably never find a single RL7. Looking for £75 plus post. Now SOLD!

More to follow.....

Gte/Gsi front roll bar blasted and powder coated red Mint condition. I'm pretty sure I have the brackets to but will check for interested parties. £50 plus post. Now SOLD!

Custom nova stubby adjustable mirrors. Initially bought however I wasn't happy with them so dug out all filler and started again. The profile swages now mirror a normal nova item perfectly. Backplates and glasses were also reworked and are mint. Finished in breeze blue with textured black outers to look stock etc. £250 plus post.

Lastly... Two smoothed plug covers. One Matt grey and one gloss silver £20 each plus post. Also a rare promotasport heatshield for the c20let engine. Unavailable nowadays new and look quality. Ive dropped you a pm Craig. I have never taken advantage of any member and have a good reputation for selling good parts with no messing. My prices reflect quality and or the market. Apologies if you feel otherwise! The market has gone a bit crazy but I have no control over that. I guess the ford boys were having the same argument years ago. Anything retro commands a premium these days I guess. I've posted here to give members a chance on some great parts but If People would rather I didn't then the advert can be removed and I will sell elsewhere no problem.

How is it taking advantage of club members? If club members cant afford it then club members don't buy it, no one is forcing anyone to buy anything are they!! Prices are very reasonable imo

Yes, sadly crazy asking prices push costs up on the whole. Although maybe I should build one? they seem a bargain compared to what mine has cost.

If that's so you should know good parts cost good money. Your track inspired and have spent big in that area. Someone who prefers the show side of things may see some select parts a bargain as they would never be able to fund a costly engine/running gear. Everyone has their poison and opinion but speaking of me as dick Turpin is unfair. That kit as I've explained to you barely covers my costs and for someone who wants to buy it all and once and fit with no grief it may well be seen a bargain. Something that looks as good as they do for £250 is not a lot of money in my eyes.

All your items seem fair priced to me pal . To go find the part in tge first place then go to all the effort of having the work done would cost more than you are charging for the finished product . And if you can make a profit ontop then good on you . As you say no one is forced to buy the parts .

I was asked to clean the thread up. After reading the replies i did.
Anyone can sell an item at what ever price they want, if someone has the same item up for sale at a cheaper price, then their's will sell faster, they don't need to jump on a sale thread and tell them they are trying to rip people off.
That really isn't needed or fair in my eyes.

I've seen lots of things being sold off at hugely over priced amounts. Yet i've never jump in and said it, at most i might pm the person going to buy it and say "they can bought cheaper here)

I didn't say you're replies where shite, just some of the replies where.
