I am looking at taking the turbo off completely and run itbs but i have a few questions that some of you may be able to answer for me.
1. What losses/gains would i get from doing this?
2. Would i loose much torque and power?
3. Could you run itbs with a turbo?

Are you saying you want to take the turbo off and run ITB's can I ask why? Don't get me wrong I love throttle bodies in fact I'm currently building a small block with throttle bodies but why would you start with a 1.6 turbo engine, the potential to run high bhp is much better with a turbo, if you want to run bodies then sell the z16ler and by an x16xe
Turbo run best with a lower compression
Bodies work best with a slightly higher then standard compression.
It's just not worth the hassel

1. i can't think of any gains tbh
2. I'm guessing a big loss
3. Yes, there are a few cars that run both. R34 gtr being one of them.

Z16LER works great as a turbo engine, no idea why anyone would want to ditch the turbo? Bit like saying I have a Penis but I'm thinking of removing it and fitting a Banana in its place will it still work the same?
Dave.
