gearbox help

my bro seems to think that the girl that had it b4 me sed to him that the gearbox might b dodgy cos it was a struggle to get into 2nd gear so do u peeps recon it just needs adjustin or is it knackered and if knackered can i put my f10 on it i got layin at home

Adjust it up properly, if it works great, if not fit the F10!

probs the link. my last f10 was like that, was hard get into 1st and dam inpossile to get into second, so ajusted it, 1st + 2nd was easy but wouldnt go into 5th then :evil:

I used to have a 1.4 sr which was a bastard to get into 5th. Had to push down to get into 5th gear but not a problem with any others. Wrote it off twice before i got round to fixin it so i don't know what it was. My current SRI does the same but only very occasionaly. In 17 months of havin the car it's only done it about 10 times.

ok just as long as i kno it fits if i need it and if all else fails i kno i can get another 1.4 engine and g/box cheap
