Mods going well CJ, gonna look good.... Sorry to hear about your spin, hope the missus is ok... Managed to smack the passenger rear wheel under the car in the middle of a rally, about 3 times further under the car though, recked the tyre and the wheel getting back to service with smoke billowing of the dragged tyre and after a little 'modification' with a sledge hammer still managed to finish the day second in class.....Skips around like a bugger don't it...lol

Cjscooby

Mark
22-09-03, 11:42 PM
Well I supposed we were still doing about a ton with a bent rear axle so that probably explains it... :o

Hey points means prizes and the second that day put me 2nd overall in the championship for that year, and I think that 2nd for my first years rallying was pretty darn good...You try reading "Over jump - double caution" and then it registers in your head what you just read as you go flying over a huge jump at 80mph :o Your hearts going ' OH FCUK' and your heads going ' WHERE THE HELL WAS I - OH FCUK' :o

And then you get home and think - ah at least I have four spare rear beams I can just chuck another one in, then it dawns on you that you have a rear disc conversion and your gonna spend half a day removing crappy broken off drill bits each time they snap drilling the new holes, but its a Sunday so you can't go and buy some titanium bits and your beginning to get REALLY pissed off.......No - No-one else, just me.. Oh well I'll get me coat...

well mines lowered 60mm and when i bent the axle i had to remove the 16 and fit a 14 to get it to move.... and the axle was fucked.... and it looked as bent as yours does now
