MPG work out

I cant remember how to do it and I'm :tard:

OK so filled up last week, was between 1/4 and half a tank cost £26 odd pence done 121 miles to half a tank :eek::cry::eek: filled up again £18.93p

Apart from extremely poor, whats my rough MPG work out at?

£1.09p today cant remember what I paid last week but would been the same, maybe £1.10p

30.77 mpg worked out at 105.9 per litre.

31.67 mpg @ 109.0

So around 30 mpg hmmm it has an issue with the lambda sensor too even though I put a new one on I had to chop and change the plug only to find a dodgy wire. So it could be higher! I thought it had a fuel leak as it seems thirsty to me.

No probs mate for future ref here's the calculation.

Let's say it's £1.09 a litre.

£18.93 divided by 1.09 = 17.366L now that needs to be changed into gallons so divide by 4.546 = 3.820

now divide your distance by the gallons = 31.67mpg

thats about as inaccurate way as running out putting exactly a gallon in then running out again lol

How? Fill up let it run down to half a tank, fill up again. I remember someone posting that on here, may have been LazorJack.
