Not me. Why do you ask?
Most people on here have more sense than to own a BMW.
I say most, I await for someone to turn up and be offended lol
yep i had a e30 318is which was the 4 cylinder 16v one, 1990 best shaped one by far!!!lol
E30 318is 1990 in silver, best fun ever, sold it to a guy who did donuts in a car park showing off and blow it up

Yes, i had a red G reg e30 320. Tried drifting and managed it, but looked a complete novice!! Found it quite easy in it. Guess the straight 6 helped!!

Alright, I'm asking because I have a buddy who owns one, and he's having a bit of a brake problem. Over here in Malta, they usually swap out the engines for 2L Toyota turbo diesels out of a Carina (which is blasphemy, if you ask me) and his brakes are a bit fucky. They start off fine, then after a bit the brake pedal goes completely stiff and stops working.
I also noticed that his front discs are simply solid, and I told him he could go with an upgrade. Just don't know off which model, really.

325 are vented on them from memory, sounds like servo is leaking, check the manifold and the vac take off

if its a diesel engine in your mates car, it will probably be the brake servo not big enough to hold alot of vac from the diesel engines vac pump, or its the vac pump itself thats getting tired, if both are fine try fitting a in line vac tank to act like a reservoir for the servo.
They used to fit them to fronteras years ago as a recall, as they would have a hard pedal after 4 or 5 presses of the brake pedal which used to cause problems as most people bought them for pulling big ass caravans and when they went down hill they would run out of servo assisted brakes.
hope this makes sense ???lol

It does, and he did tell me the vac pump is a bit tired, so I just told him to switch it out and see how that goes. Thank you all for the help, my buddy says thank you as well.
