Hi guys I've searched the forum but couldn't find a answer.

I've got vectra v6 calipers which I've referbed but need new discs and pads.

Nova is 4 stud and I want to keep it that way just want to know what the best option is.

Was going for green stuff pads unless anyone has any better suggestions?

Are Meriva discs any good or is there any other options? Or should I buy some vectra discs and have them re drilled? Thanks in advance

Meriva 280mm discs are the best as they fit the best. Fiat ones have a slightly different offset. The original vectra disc work well too but will need re drilling and spigot rings fitting.

I used Fiat Coupe discs (with the 57mm piston calipers), as Andy said all you need to do is drill them out 1mm too. The centre bore is different but you don't need a spigot ring, just be a bit handy when putting wheels back on - they'll soon centre up when you have a couple bolts in place, or do a stud conversion. Preferred them to the Meriva discs as they were closer to the correct diameter and I wanted to minimize the pad overhang on the edge of the disc.

As for pads, green stuff are a bit pants IMO. Mintex would be a better choice.

I have been asking the same and most people say Mintex are the best brand so i decided go for mintex pads and mintex vectra discs and re-drill them due to the pad overhang issues...

Brembo do some nice discs aswell for a decent price

On the Vectra disc, only 4holes need re-drilling one lines up. Yes the centre bore is different but a spigot ring isnt needed just makes life easier.

Found mtec on eBay who sell Mintex pads and discs for the vectra but also said they would re drill for £25. £90 delivered ready to fit which isn't too bad. There asking for the stud diameter? Wtf is that? I know the pattern is 4x100 for the nova but no idea what the stud diameter is?? any ideas anyone????

I hope those mintex pads you got were M1144 minimum, or ideally 1155 :)

Youd expect so for the price

Na there just poverty spec ones MBD1813. Pads and discs were £65 for the pair inc postage and £25 for re drilling. I know £25 is abit steep for 4 holes but I'm Just happy to be getting somewhere with the nova been sitting ages just wanna drive it
