Impossible to say without knowing the spec -ie what cams; what CR; what pistons; rod bolts etc etc

Not so much power from this setup.
Exhaust manifold can make you some power.

. freshly rebuilt new crank seals piston rings new oil pump gasket and sump gasket. The head has been ported&polished freshly skimmed and new valves and stem seals Kent cam timing belt as well as Kent cam pulleys and has a set of qed q42h cams with arp head bolts and a cosmetic triple later head gasket . It's on standard Pistons aswell

Are you looking for more power then? If the bottom end's standard then some work can be done there but will probably want another set-up?

Get a 2.2 bottom end? Or invest in a lsd.

What do you want the car to be like? 180bhp is a lot already for a little Nova if its just for road use. Do you want to take it on track days or something? then the spec of your brakes, suspension, tyres etc and the cars weight are all more important than spending a whole lot to squeeze out just another 10 or 20 bhp from an NA 2.0 engine.

No mention of rod bolts? I'm assuming it has arps?

Otherwise it's not going to like going north of 7250 rpm lol

Can't remember if it has arp rod bolts will f and I would like to take it a few track days . What Benefits would bigger valves do and what sort of Pistons would I have to run . At the mo it's off road due to missed a year and just touched a valve or two lost compression on two Cylinders so was thinking best time to mess with cold weather comming

Is it worth putting the 2.2 bottom end on and what gains would it give

Assuming the car feels like it can coupe with the power it already makes; rods & pistons to give you the revs will mean more than 100bhp / litre.

Will F

Arrow/Farndon rods
JE/Omega/Accralite/etc pistons (they are just down to engine builder's choice normally - where they can get the best deal)
