I've just got hold of a square port inlet with dmtl carb/adapter cheap but will be running a 13sb head. Am I going to lose to much performance on the incorrect match from these two and best swapping it on for the cathedral type (if I can find one) or will the loss only be slight that it's not worth worrying about?

thanks
Richard

Yeah it's not good news sadly.

I once had the reverse problem of a 1300 inlet on a 1400 head; out came the stone set & my first head port matching was done in my grans shed! Took all day & evening, but believe me when I say, if you want a smooth power curve there cannot be any sharp edges anywhere. (Just recently finished my first twincam port / flow and recovering from the whitefinger X_X ) ~ It was worth it.
