Changing Thermostat 1.0L - pulley off?

Hey everyone, looks to me like to get the Thermostat off my 1.0L I need to remove the large drive pulley on the left hand side of the engine, is that right?
Also where does my fuel filter live lol

The stat is under the top radiator hose, held in by a spring clip on a 1.0l nova

Cheers mate, block end right? So take the hose off and its in there?

no, it sits within the waterpump casting.
