F20 gearbox in c20let

Hi currently got a Astra mk3 c20let with f20 gearbox running about 280 bhp with no problems how much will gearbox handle

Pretty sure people have put a lot more power then that through an f20 gearbox with out any issues.

Its a gamble, they'll take it but depends how you drive lots of abuse it won't last long term, f23 or f28 is a good option

I had a standard let rip a f20 to shreads! And that box wasn't in
that bad nick, but it did get drove hard, my f28 has lasted a lot longer

As said, it's down to the driver... But 280 bhp and the same levels of torque (as that's the killer) will be close!
