It will fit. Not sure you can convert the Speedo..

What gearbox is fitted to the engine at the moment?

There is no gear box. I have built an e16se and I am ready to put this in.

my car has a 1.2 with an f10.

I believe the f10 will not fit due to the bell housing is to small for the bigger flywheel that is on the e16se.

I am looking for an f13cr and I am strugaling.

Nobby from this club sent me a link 2 eBay showing me this corsa b f13 with c394 stamped above the gear box end cap. So I am sure that the c is close ratio and the 394 is the final drive ratio/diff ratio???

Just not sure if this speedo drive on my nova will work with this box????

No it won't work with standard clocks if you want them to work, but I suppose you could use the gearbox as a temporary measure until you find another if you wished - providing the E16SE ECU doesnt need a signal wire?

I don't really recommend the above though as strictly its not legal

Another suggestion would be to look for an F15CR instead, they are a straight swap in terms of fitment

or try to find an f13wr box from an astra mk3, and then swap the innards over, which is quite easy, especially if they have the same diff ratio... then sell the corsa box as an f13wr afterwards

Thank you I never new that I could use an f15cr I will have a look in to getting 1 of those.

yes changing the innards is a good idea to.:)

I am running, twin 45s with a competition Kent cam that peaks 4000 to 8000 rpm and solid lifters.

I a lead to believe that a close ratio box will help this cam set up really pull???

Pish easy to convert to mechanical drive, pop out the diff and stick a speedo ring on it and remove the blanking piece and fit the speedo drive, not exactly difficult,

The E16 does not require a VSS of any form for the engine to run properly
