I know we all like original engines in cars (not really, ex C20XE/LET)

But what if

What if

1.3L Glanza engine in a Nova.

Discuss.

Depends what you are trying to achieve. If you want a galanza engined nova then that is the only way to do it.
If you want to keep it all vauxhall then this is not a good choice

There comes a point when its just not a nova anymore

Someone once fitted a Toyota engine to a Nova, cant remember if he posted it on here or another vauxhall forum. Sure someone also fitted a Honda civic engine in a Nova, then there was Colins YB engined Nova van.

Go for it I say!

Get a tape measure. An A4 pad and a pencil. It will probably fit. The glanza is really rare in the uk, so I doubt it's been done before here

This.A glanza in standard form will be better and faster point to point than a nova all day.It will also be cheaper to buy than to build a glanza nova.

Suzuki Swift 1.3 16v used to be a popular conversion for rallying back in the day.

I'd rather have a 4E-FTE engine in a Glanza/Starlet tbh

Echoing above - think empty wallet, lots of headaches and swearing, then another unfinished project on ebay
