Can anyone suggest or recommend any companies who can insure an unregistered car? All I could find from a quick google were short term <30 day jobs who only really cover imports prior to getting them MOT'd and registered. The laid up policies I found all seem to need the car to be registered too.

Obviously it won't be for road use, but with the value the car I'd like some peace of mind against fire/theft/damage etc.

Did think about trying to add it on the house insurance as an individual high-value item but not sure if that would be viable.

Like a track car?

REIS will probably be your best bet

Not a track car, its for the Super Bee. It's not registered yet as it's not really in a suitable condition to be MOT/IVA'd just now lol So it won't be going anywhere other than being trailered maybe to a bodyshop or what not. But it still has the kinda value that someone might think it worth breaking into my garage for or trying to drag away.

If it has a chassis number and I assume it has a foreign reg then Im sure most companies can still cover it, but will need to be a specialist.

Id still try REIS as they do all sorts of off-the-wall cover but a quick google brought up http://www.keithmichaels.co.uk/imported-car-insurance/
