I've just got a new set of inlet and exhaust valves as some of the old ones where bent, should all new valves be ground in or can they just be replaced with out any extra work needed ?.

new valves should always be ground in.Isnt exactly hard.

sucker, medium and fine grinding paste, finger

reciprocate in the palm of the hand until there is a 0.5-0.8mm evencontact band on both the seat and the valve.

remove all traces of paste.
