Can anyone tell me what the approx fuel pressure of a bosch 044 is please . All i can find is the rate of flow but im wanting to know the pressure . Cheers dan

If not can anyone tell me what jets they were using with c20xe
For "50hp" shot of nitrous with no controller .
Thanks again.

I used 044 Bosch pumps on my Escort Cosworth, and they run at around 5 bar.

The flow rate will depend on the operating pressure.

Do you mean the maximum pressure it can run at? As the pump will be controlled by the regulator?

Pressure is controlled by a fuel regulator, with a fuel return, bleeds the excess flow/pressure back to tank

How hard did you look?

If you google bosch 044 spec and go to 'images' you'll get a graph plotting flow against pressure.

No i need the pressure before the reg as the feed is from before the reg so once the solanoid is open its at full pump pressure . Cheers nova rally

What on earth are you talking about?
The pressure before the regulator is the regulator pressure as its a back peessure controller.

Any point between the pump discharge and the end if the FPR before the return lone is at regulated pressure. If you have a 2.5B reg guess what the discharge pressure will be....

Well this is why im asking the question you see as i didnt know if running additional feeds from the feed line would alter it . If i knew the answer i wouldnt be asking the question would i .

All i know is the lad who is sorting the new jets out for me at the raceway this weekend asked me to find out the max pressure the pump was capable of .

Yes but you cant dead-head the pump or it will gas up and fail very quickly so the max pressure at 0 LPM is irrelevant and therefore, not published in the spec. which is why the pressures are given against a required flow rate. Your jet supply has to come from a back-pressure regulated rail similar setup to the fuel rail. You cant simply put a solenoid on the pump discharge then straight to a jet or you will never actually be able to properly meter the fuel.
