The lug is for fitment on either a Mk1 Astra or rear wheel drive application iirc. Something bolts to it.
The cover is the same fitment though.
The best ones were the later ones which had spacers cast in behind the bolt holes to stop the cover being overtightened causing oil leaks.

i did think the lug was for 4 wheel drive but was not sure.
so still on my quest for finding a later one,any one help?
