Hi all. Whats the absolute must haves to get a c20xe to run?
I want make sure it runs before doing anymore work.
When I try now it nearly fires up, so am close - currently just squirting a bit of fuel down tb.....
It needs the same as any internal combustion engine...
fuel, air and spark!

A good battery, or else a really steep hill for a pushstart.
Have you looked in the how to articles? It's most likely weather a sensor fault or you've not got the right positive feed to the ecu.

Got all the above, sensors all good so far. Getting pops and farts but no idle. Icv okay, earths okay although I only have two that I can find on inlet - some guides say you should have three?
How do you know the ICV is ok?

Tested on another engine. I guess that even if the icv was knackered it would still fire up though?
Yep -it would still start - if its popping and backfiring through the inlet(?) I would say your leads are on wrong...?
