F13 box main shaft bearing replacement

How do you get the main shaft bearing out at the clutch end of the box? Does it require a special tool?

Is it the blind bearing that sits behind the pinion gear?
If so, there is a special tool but I have never seen one. I got mine out with just a normal blind bearing puller forced in. Warm the alloy casing around it with a hot air gun or blow torch to expand the metal.
