Considering returning my sr from a c20let back to orginal. Been racking my mind whats best cos i just don't use it enough. Also with continual running problems its does make sense as i have a little one now and dont get chance to mess around on it. But keep thinking will i regret it as always wanted a let nova. Any input would be great.

Go to something easier to maintain and setup like a XE (small or big block) you already have the shell per-paired for a XE.

Either fix it or swap the engine.

Thought about xe or smallblock xe. But thought returning it back to 1.3 sr would be worth more as it will be standard.

But will it though? An un molested 1.3 might be. Surely the chassis mods for the LET conversion wouldnt be undone?

Keep the let and get it running sweet. You've got another nova don't you?

Unless its a really tidy early SR then I'd say it would be worth more with a LET

I'd definitely keep the let since you have the other one. Just get it running good. You'll regret taking it out id imagine.

I know this is the thing. Dont wanna but money is tight at the minute and carnt be spending on it.

If you take the let out I'm sure you could sell it and get decent money for it, as for what you replace it with well it really depends how much power you'll be happy with.

Thats it thinking about how much money its worth is making me think about replacing it with something else.

Surely if the engine isn't running right it won't be worth chuff all? Unless you're selling it for parts, in which case if you strip it down you may as well fix it lol

IMO things like SRs etc only fetch LET-style money if they're 100% original. Having a prepped engine bay might put the big money purists off, and thats assuming you have the original engine still.

If you don't use it enough then why not just put it away until you can afford the time/money to fix it up properly?

Its nothing major think might just put her away for a while until i decide whats best.
