Hello, seeking some clarification on whether I can use the MkII e/w loom on MkI e/w switches? I'm sure I read somewhere that the difference in plug switch connectors is that one has 4 terminal plug and the other has 5, though not sure whether this is more or less unimportant? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Tony

So I would be fine using the MkII loom on MkI switches? ... Would probably just have to chop the connector plug off and use spades, yeah? Can't see why I wouldn't be able to use it, as the looms were all much the much on these old motors.

Yeah no reason why you can't adapt it with a wiring diagram
