The top hose on my 1992 mk2 1.2i nova perished and burst the other day and covered the engine bay in water so naturally I replaced it. Now when it warms up, in any gear, or put my foot to the floor it reaches 4000 rpm and then cuts out and stutters, loses power and becomes unresponsive. Could the dizzy be water damaged (dried off all the water but unsure) or something else entirely? Any ideas? Thanks.
