Yes Nova is and has been for most of my driving life, the daily. I have a few so, they often get a year or two off whilst the other is driven. Carb cars especially if serviced well are pretty reliable.

I have done for years.... Tried using my gsi the other week for a few days. Never again. Too used to normal cars now. Even better if its an auto/semi auto etc

I Have 3 cars insured currently and don't really have a daily as such, just drive whatever takes my fancy at the time based on weather, passengers etc, tends to be the 106 gti for rain/poor conditions and nova let or rx7 for sunny/weekends.

My daily is a golf r32 which is quite nice to drive I've got to admit,so sadly it means with work, family life etc i use it a lot less than i used to as I don't have the time anymore,it also sits in the garage taxed, insured and mot'd all year round just in case the notion takes me but I'm too used to modern comforts it would drive me mad having to use it every day, saying that I'm taking it to a local show tomorrow.i usually do around 500 miles between mot's in the nova.

Automatics are the devil lol.

I thought that.... Until I drove a double clutch system.
drive a vag dag or a bmw dct (even better with some paddles) and you will change your opinion.

Autos are awesome as a daily. So lazy!

Used to drive my V6 as a daily. Tbh the Avensis is a lot better, you can just get in and start it, defrost it in the winter, its warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. And more comfy lol

The temptation to use the Super Bee every day in the summer when its roadworthy though... hmmm

Drives nice on the road but cage/buckets/harnesses are tedius, and I don't like parking it places for too long.

I couldn't drive my let van every day, which I'm glad about. 3 people to put In it and only 2 seats, I probably still wouldn't use it even if I could get the family in. It's just a toy although all my other novas were my daily drivers for the best part of 5 years. Vectra VXR for everyday pimpin now

My 1.0 is my daily ride, just finished a 1.4 conversion and I'm hoping it stays reliable enough to use every day! Apparently the carb heater on these pierburgs can be temperamental...

I never driven my current Nova, my current daily's are BMW e92 325 and an afla Mito 1.4 turbo, both are autos and both have paddles, the Alfa is great to drive and has about 155bhp, but the BMW is my main car as its a lot more refined. Hopefully the Nova will be on the road next year.

My Grp N spec C20XE nova (corsa a, really) is my daily driver, +/- 150km p/wk. I use my bikes as weekend rides (retro Fizzer & GS twin café racer)
