Valver Q's again

i'm using the 1.2i as my car for the valver, the engine is in ok, but i'm having some more trouble. will the 1.2i (spi) loom be ok for the valver one? (16V calibra engine) also, can i temporarily use my 1.2SPi fuel pump, or will i have serious engine power problems? also did the 1.2Spi have a swirl pot? or was it only the gte/gsi that had these?

I dont think the pump deliveres enough pressure to get full potential from the engine!
not sure bout the swirl pot q!

No the 1.2i didnt have a swirl pot.

And you will need the larger GTE/GSi fuel pump.

The tanks you can use i belive to be an SRi/GTE/GSi. unsure on the SRi though.

1.2i tank is fine....

1.2i pump will be ok for temp use (i ran mine for 4 months before we knew about it being low presure)

the fix is to use a mpi vectra pump... or if u have ??? use an fse escort cossie one

and yes it has a swirl pot u can see it if you remove the pump

use corsa gsi mpi fuelpump and cut the plastic tail off the rear to get it to fit into the nova tank. about an hours work to do this! expect to pay around ?40 for a corsa pump from most places

lol or get vectra pump for ?20... cause 9 out of 10 are mpi and how many spi to mpi vectra conversions do u see?
