Right so as my title I crashed my nova last night. It was the first crash I ever had and just as I was nearly ready for VBOA and first proper car show in it which I was even more gutted about to be honest.

it started raining the brakes just locked up I wasn't going fast but there was nothing I could I tried everything :(

basically the chassis leg is bent slightly and the front panel needs replacing (pics will be going in my build thread.

Does rs anyone have any ideas how to straighten the chassis leg and if there's any cheap ish front panels out there?
Also if there's a my bumper reinforcements? I will make a wanted thread just thought I'd mention it hope that's ok.

Going to be a tough week but hopefully she will be back in time for vboa

cheers
alex

What I would do depending on how bent it is try and pull the leg straight off the knackered front panel then cut it off and replace, most body shops with a jig would probley be better

it looks like it is just the end that's bent not the hole leg... I have a tree at the end of my drive lol

You dont need to tie round anything.just beat it straight and crack on.youll need front panel off though

I tried beating it straight yesterday but it won't move and I wasn't hanging back on it :S I was thinking put a cut in it beat it straight and weld it back up?

Yeh cut it straighten it and weld then a plate welded over the top for extra strength.

Or do what lee did & just cut the whole lot off past the turrets, then replace with tube.

There seems to be a few reasonably priced front panels on eBay at the moment. Including what appears to be a genuine one. Worth a look.
