As title, got a new engine and it has no studs fitted.
Can anyone confirm thread size and length?
they are all m8 coarse. the exhaust ones will be about 30mm, but the inlet ones are all sorts of different lengths if using the oe injection manifold

Thanks mowgli, it is a aftermarket inlet manifold running bike carbs so I think I will just go M8 x35mm inlet and exhaust although I will give it a quick measure.
Weren't too expensive with nuts from Vauxhall for my XE so could always get a price on the 'correct' length ones

I have just bought a full set of inlet and exhaust manifold studs and nuts from my local dealer (was @ £30ish) for my Sport 1.3 OHC 8V
was that with the funky copper nuts?
Ring autovaux.they arent much at all
30quid for mild steel is horrendous.you could get stainless ones for less than that
last time i bought some they were about 80pence each

I must admit I didn't expect them to be that much, but in my defence it was for my Sport2, and I'm on a deadline for Billing...........
And it looks original
Thats fair enough.its awful being at the mercy of mainstealers lol
