1988 Mk1 Vauxhall Nova 4 Door Saloon - £600.00 ONO
I have decided to sell my Nova Saloon as it has become too much of a project for me to handle as I also have a 2 door saloon project on the go.
This car has served me well as a daily driver and has very rarely let me down. Please see below for more information:
- MOT due January 2016
- NO TAX DUE TO NEW LAWS
- Lowered 60mm on Gmax shocks and springs
- Mk3 Cavalier Cesaro alloys without centre caps
- 256mm Uprated front brakes (Mk3 Cavalier 2.0 16v Callipers w/ vented/grooved/dimpled discs)
- Full Custom Stainless Exhaust System w/ middle box and back box so not too loud
- Brand new N/S/F genuine GM wing professionally sprayed (Started to get stuff restored a couple of months ago)
- New alternator fitted 6 months ago
- New cam belt fitted less than 500 miles ago
- New water pump fitted less than 500 miles ago
- New auxiliary belt fitted less than 500 miles ago
- New fuel pump fitted 6 months ago
- New spark plugs fitted 6 months ago
- All services have been carried out by myself.
The Bad Bits:
- Very limited service history due to the car coming with barely any paper work
- Rust/rot as pictured
- Bottom of front valance needs welding
- Behind headlights needs welding
- Brake lines were advised on last MOT
- Distributor making noise, pick-ups on distributor cap probably wearing out
- Tracking needs doing
- 195/45R15 tyres on front & 205/50R15 tyres on rear due to having to fit two random part worns from a breakers yard in the middle of nowhere after getting a puncture whilst on a road trip.
- Alloys rattle canned in white by previous owner and now flaking
This car has been looked after mechanically and I have tried my best with the body work but unfortunately I'm not a welder and I'm not about to try and learn on a classic car.
