i havnt downloaded and listened, but a lot of nova drivers 'on the real roads' are muppets

i happened to drive past some guy in one pulling out the spar, he felt he had to let me know he had an aftermarket exhaust on - thanks mate i have one too lol

Well, I did download it and I listed to the whole 39 Bloody minutes and as far as I can tell there was 1 reference to a Nova - which was basically - 'yeah Nova drivers have difficulty shaking there bad rep' - I din't thing it was exacty a slagging - did I miss something??

nova drivers are wankers generaly, because there are more boy racers than enthusiasts,
not many people can generaly be arsed/afford to keep a nova in show condition, thus u get the wankers who just rag them into the ground! even the best novas out there get into races etc with other cars which to the general public is looked upon as being a wanker
so to conclude- we are all wankers, all i can think to say is we should be proud to be wankers and dont give a shit what other people think! :lol:

Can't say as I've noticed any change in people attitudes towards me in either a Saxo/Nova.

People still cut me up, won't let me pull out, tailgate and brake suddenly. However this is not the case with my fellow Saxo drivers, even VTS and modded model will allow me to pull infront of them and I'm always thanked when I do the same.

I never saw this with Nova Drivers.... :|

Hhmmn That's funny, since I started driving a Nova I have been amazed at how many are actually driven around my area and I'd say around 75% give a knowing nod when they see me and I do the same to them....

ive never had a problem with other novas letting me in, i understand though that some people dont like nova drivers, i know i acted a complete tit when i first got mine, soon learnt my lesson after writing it off and now i generally drive like anyone else.

as a general rule i'll let out any modded car. we need to stick together at the end of the day were all into the same thing.

That seemed a complete waste of time. That presenter basically just ripped into them "cruisers" and took the piss. They didn't seem willing to actually accept both sides of the story.
Also that driving instructor bloke was a twat!! Exact stopping distances arent something you even need to know to pass a driving test anymore, i never even read the bloody highway code. Blame it on him!! :lol:

and yes nova drivers are tw@s, but the same must have been said of mk1/2 escort drivers at the time etc. its not that a nova is in the same league as a mk1/2 escort but the principles are the same. soon all the muppet boy racers will fade away and the "enthusiasts" will remain

give it time and novas will become less boy racer cars. as soon as those gay saxos come down in price abit evry 18 year old lad will have one and the stereotype will move to saxos rather than novas. novas will become more of a classic (like mk2 escorts etc) and will be driven by enthusiasts rather than tw@ts

aye but the only reason the tw@t boy racers will move on to the shite saxo (which i cant wait to see getting thrashed and crashed like the nova has!) is when their novas have died leaving us enthusiasts with less novas on the road meaning less 2nd hand parts etc.............i hate those little cnuts
