Do you know if all Nova driveshafts are interchangeable, or do different models have different splines, flanges etc.
many thanks

1.0 to 1.4 yes, 1.6 is slighty bigger i think and some gtes have a diffrent amount of splines so can take big block shafts. No sure on derv shafts

If they're aftermarket ones yes. If they're original then no. As above, gte and gsi shafts were thicker and had different number of teeth. Usually 22 splines and a 'fatter' end to the spline. I know as I've been searching for shafts for weeks now and just found them. Some nova diesels used 22 spline shafts too

Are the 22 splines at the hub end, but the gearbox end the same, whether 1.2 or GTE?

The 22 splines are are the inside of the inner cv joint.
The inside of the outer joint I can't remember. But, the outside splines of the outer hub fitting are all exactly the same from 1.0 up to 1.6. Same discs same pads some legs etc
That's a great help. thank you
