Evening all as above im ok with the bolts but no idea how or what to do with the shear bolt on the left side upper mount
Read Haynes but still not sure an I don't have an extractor

any help guys an rep will be spread lol

I think you just drill it out

I've just done mine but it had been done previously and a normal bolt replaced the shear bolt. maybe try drilling it out. As for replacing column, make sure it is in the correct part of the housing for the steering lock and then tighten the bolts when in situ. I didnt know this like a muppet

Mole grips if access is OK (i.e. no dash). Maybe a drill if not.

Mole grips or chase it with a punch/cold chisel

Easiest way by far is to put another nut on the other side and tighten til it slackens then turn rest of way with mole grips.
