I'm just wondering if anyone has had a go at making something along the lines of a car skate to help move the car around when it has no wheels on.

Something like that, maybe with but in Axel stands that you can raise and lower?
Cheers Nick.

Time = money! So if you don't have the time/welder etc then buy them. Its a small job for someone with the tools and materials. I am a fabricator welder but if I didn't have the time then I would get my wallet out! Simples lol

Hence why im thinking of making my own, thinking something along the lines of a square to go under the car, with casters on each corner with a platform for each corner to put an axle stand

For moving a bare shell we made some frames that bolted to the front lower arm and rear beam mounts.

Do you remember where you got the caster wheels from?

It was quite a long time ago but I'm pretty sure we got them from tool station.

I used to move them about on the bottom half of a shopping trolley. Damn strong and only a quid from most supermarkets.
