I have been offered a Swap for my Nova for a Corsa GSi pictured below

Yes i know its a Corsa but i am at a crossroads where i want a change i am on me 3rd nova now an want something quicker an a new project!

well i dont like the corsas that much so my honest opinion would be keep the nova

thing is if YOU want a change and YOU like/prefer the corsa then go for it

i wouldnt entertain one but that doesnt mean you wont

and if your planning anything with the bodywork do not even think about putting one of those combat kits on :|

well been chattin to me mates an brother about it an the nova is goin for its mot on the 10th of oct.

So dependin on what happens with that if it fails its comin off the road for an engine rebuild/Conversion :wink:, engine bay paint an renew most of the bushes ball joints everything that wares an then it should be like a new car when its put back together. In the mean time i will just have to go out an buy a ?100 Shitter to drive round in.

I'd do the swap, Faster, newer, more creature conforts (Power steering etc etc) Already modded quite well but there's still room to add your own touches (Lose the naff plates and cheap looking 'opel' stickers all over it).
Have you seen one simlar in the for sale section? Will also maybe swap for a modded Nova, are they the same cos the one in the pics has Speedlines whereas the one in for sale section has BBS cross spokes.

Either way I'd swap it m8 as long as it's straight and rust free.

make sure it's got the options or you may as well just have a base spec corsa with a 1.6 16v and a gsi front bumper :lol:

True Ste m8, but Nova's never came with the option of ABS so if it has then it's a boney arse, EW and SR although avaliable on Nova's tended to be only on higher spec or special edition models, and even if the Corsa doen't have things like EW then a trip to a breakers will solve that problem!!!

seems you aint got much else you can do to your nova and keep it as everyday car - corsa gsi would be a nicer car to drive every day.

plus its best colour and has decent wheels 8)

i quite like corsas there just a new nova really.
I you were gonna swap it i would swap it for that, the corsa dont look too bad and you could do some stuff to it to make it to your taste.

Colin Smith ( :| ) had one for sale or part-ex for a modded Nova in the cars for sale section last week and it was a modded 2L valver.
Might be worth a look as it sounded nice.
