How to...Mk2 front wings on Mk1 shell?

Firstly, can you do it? Looks like the shell need modifying, is that right? I thought this would be straightforward but I might be wrong...any advice please??

you can do it yes, you will need a whole new front end, grill, wings bumper, headlights and indicators im sure there will be other stuff as well but its been done plenty of times so shouldnt be an issue.

To convert to mk2 front end you'll need:

2 headlights + clips
2 indicators
2 wings
a bumper
bumper bar/irons (although bar itself may be swappable)
grill
and you'll need to mod the mk1's slam panel as the clips for the mk2 grill wont fit as the mk1 has less clips than the mk2. Need to get the drill and files out.

Plus you'll need to respray the front end obviously unless youve been lucky and got the same colour.

Thanks all. There'll be some mods to the bumper as its a rally car build but otherwise, think I've got the bits.
