Ive used hammerite on my arches its fine as it dries hard and shiny. Ive also used the hammerite underseal thing is its hard to clean stuff off as it stays tacky. Why not just paint over the blue with black hammerite?

I ve never had probs with it cracking. Just made sure arches were cleaned up i put primer on painted hammerite red smooth. Been like that for years.
ive done a few nova's with hammerite, lasted very well
I painted my suspension springs with hammerite and they are fine.

Like mine weren't bad at all I just wire brushed all inner arches and brushed it on will it still stick good
and will a power washer blow it off
I painted mine on my mk1 astra with under seal and then silver Hammerite. No problems.

Tersal is the best for painting over as gos Rock hard , others stay soft or wet
The Hammerite I've done has hardened.
If it's hardened it won't have been the one with waxoil in.

The wax oil one is crap. It cant be painted over. As it never dries out it makes working on the car a right messy job as the stuff just gets all over you. Getting it out of your hair isn't much fun. Do the job properly instead with proper rubber spray or stone chip stuff and a nice few layers of paint on top which can be easily washed clean.
