Anyone out their done this or know that is feasible?
thoughts much appreciated.
have got one to hand and thinking of putting onto a 1.3 with twin 40 dcoes.
Tbh the 1300head in std form would be better than the 1400head, unless its an Sri head

I have a 1.4 head that has had bigger valves in it and been ported. The original 1.3 head on the car is pretty much standard.
Furry muffs, should be better than the 1300 head. You'll need a square port inlet

Out of interest do you know the difference between a 1.2 and 1.3 valve sizes apart??
thanks for your replies Stuart..
iirc there are no valve size changes between 1.2 and 1.3. Willing to be proved wrong though.

They are the same size, early 1.2 head has a slightly less combustion chamber size than the 1.3, have a look at my thread below

So you can stick a 1.2 head on as a straight replacement to up compression hence performance increased a little! Interesting! A good cheap upgrade if funds are tight.
did think standard valves were bigger on a 1.3 myself, but they are the same...

IIRC
Cathederal port 1.2/1.3 head
inlet 33mm
ex 29mm
Later heads I believe are
inlet 38mm
ex 31mm
