Would I have to do any adjustments once installed? I bought a set of aftermarket door locks for my Nova, and I can't open/lock doors from the inside, and can only open the car with the emergency key.

These are deadlocks, so when open you can lock the car from the inside. Basically free moving. But when locked they preent any lock mechanism moving. So should be what you are wanting.
