Vauxhall Adam

Anyone know anything about the engine fitments, will a c20let-c20xe physically fit in, are the mounts anywhere near, anyone know of any with these engines and boxes fitted, pictures would be good or links if possible.

I think there was an Adam at PVS last year with an A16LET engine in from a Corsa VXR .

Always thought a Z20LEH engine in an Adam would be fun !

My mate jon messenger built the adam with the corsa vxr engine he also has the orange mk1 astra with z20leh. The let leh would goin the adam as its the same chassis as the corsa d but dont expect to get the clocks working

I have no idea why you'd want to put a 30 odd year old engine in a more or less new car lol much better off with one of the newer generation engines ie corsa vxr or astra

When you have a engine that was built at a cost of £10,000+ it makes sense to use whats available, rather than buying and building a more modern one.

Fair enough I assumed you where going out to buy one to put in.

A corsa d has been fitted with a z20leh and everything works as it should. So it would work in an Adam as well.
