Sr lower vinyl position

On a late mk1 sr does the vinyl go to the bottem of the rub strip? Or half way? Or to the top of the rub strip? If that makes sence.

Half the way up the rub strip, at the ends the genuine vinyls are shaped and step up higher to finsh almost level with the top line of the rub strip, ie wheel arch lip.
